Trekking & Hacking
General Information
Horses and ponies in our equestrian centre are carefully selected for their temperament and adaptability. They are well schooled, easy to handle and suitable for all levels of abilities.
All horse & pony rides are accompanied by friendly, experienced guides. Length and pace of ride can be tailored to suit ability and experience of rider. Our most popular treks are between one and two hour duration taking in the wonderful scenery around Ballybunion and North Kerry.
For those who want to spend more time in the saddle we can offer half and full day cross-country hacks. For those who want to have a fun ride we offer picnic or pub rides. Ideal for families or groups on a social outing. We also offer trail rides over several days tailored to suit the needs and requirements of riders.
We welcome people who would like to bring their own horses to join our treks and hacks. We can provide livery for your horse and also offer on-site accomodation in a self-catering apartament.
Riding hats are provided for all riders, but visitors are welcomed to bring their own.
